The Unrecognized Energy Crisis That Could Destroy Your Business
Many corporations experience an energy crisis that is more internal than external
/North Carolina News Articles/ - SUPPLY, NC, July 31, 2008 - When we think about the energy crisis, we naturally first think about the ever increasing costs associated with oil, gasoline and electricity. However, there is another, widely unrecognized energy crisis that can negatively impact any organization's team productivity, efficiency and ultimately those all-important profit margins.
Bob Rausch, Ph D., Executive Coach, consultant and CEO of 1Executive Energy Inc., believes that the internal energy forces that drive individuals and groups are far more important to a company's bottom line than any external energy source. Getting team members to function at maximum levels, to manage conflicts, increase positive communication, maximize cooperation and reduce stress all impact the internal energy efficiency of any organization.
"Stress is just one primary factor in the equation," stated Dr. Rausch, "43% of all corporate employees suffer adverse health effects due to stress and 80-90% of all visits to a primary care physician are due to stress related complaints or disorders. Stress has been linked to all the leading causes of death; heart disease, cancer, accidents and suicide. However, stress is not the problem. Stress is the result of the problem. The problem is ineffective use of personal energy. This is much the same as gas and oil for an automobile. If you fail to put oil in your car you are going to stress the engine. If you fail to put gas in it you arenā t going anywhere. The same is true with personal energy. Failing to use it effectively when situations arise is the cause of stress. Itā s not the event - itā s what people do with that event."
Dr. Rausch (widely known as 'The Energy Doctor') is the author of three books on the subject of personal and enterprise energy. His latest release, I Don't Dress Dead People - How To Live An Energized Life Without Burning Yourself Out, details 22 'Energy Connectors' that can help anyone learn to recognize serious, hidden energy drains, change interpersonal relationships, focus personal energy and develop new outlooks on work.
"We all have an infinite supply of energy," stated Dr. Rausch, "so why are so many people drained and stressed to the max? The answer is that very few people are aware of the importance of personal energy or even that it exists. When people are low on energy, they tend to complain about stressful problems simply because they don't have the energy to solve them. Searching for the answers to those same problems would take even more energy ā " difficult if one is already out of gas."
Widely recognized as America's leading authority on personal and enterprise energy, Dr. Rausch has made it his life's work to bring our personal energy crisis to an end by teaching companies and individuals to effectively manage their internal energy resources.
