Phil Kirk Joins Brady Services Inc.
Phil Kirk becomes a new leader for Brady Services Inc. Energy Services Group. His experience will help the organization to better communicate with key publics.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, July 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brady Services Inc. (www.bradyservices.com), a comprehensive energy services company specializing in heating, air conditioning and energy-efficient buildings, announces today that Phil Kirk, longtime proponent of North Carolina business and education, has accepted a position as new business development/corporate marketing leader for the company's Energy Services Group.

Kirk, expected to begin his new position in late July, will be based out of Brady's Triangle office in Morrisville. Serving as a member of the management team, Kirk will represent Brady at various statewide business meetings and will work with the Brady team on business development and other related marketing roles.

Kirk has most recently served as vice president for external relations at Catawba College, his alma mater. He is also president/CEO emeritus of the North Carolina Chamber (formerly the North Carolina Citizens for Business and Industry or NCCBI), the largest statewide business advocacy organization in North Carolina, and is the former chaiman of the North Carolina State Board of Education.

A native of Rowan County, Kirk lives in Raleigh and serves as chair of the North Carolina Public School Forum board of directors. He is also a member of the North Carolina Economic Development board and the boards of UNC-TV, Meredith College, Visiting International Faculty program, North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching Foundation and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Foundation.

Brady Services, headquartered in Greensboro, was founded in 1962 by current CEO Don Brady. The company also has offices in the Triangle, Charlotte, Fayetteville and Wilmington.
