Coleman & Associates Helps Bayhead Commons Become Fully Leased with Addition of New Tenants
The leasing efforts of Coleman & Associates helps retail shops to become fully leased just one year after construction was started. Dunkin Donuts, Mattress RX and Little Ceasar's have been added to Morehead City's retail mix in Bayhead Commons


RALEIGH, NC, February 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Located in Morehead City, on Highway 70 West across from Super Wal-Mart, "Bayhead Commons" is now fully leased just over a year after beginning construction. Developer, Broad Creek Holdings, Inc. completed the 8,300 square foot retail shops building in mid-2009 with Dunkin Donuts anchoring the end cap. Win Coleman, CCIM of Coleman & Associates Commercial & Investment Real Estate Services, who oversees leasing, marketing and management for the shops, secured leases with Mattress RX and Little Caesars Pizza to bring Bayhead Commons to full occupancy. "We're very excited to have been able to arrange leases with these quality retailers, especially during these economic times. The combination of a great location, quality retailers and flexible landlords with a long term view worked together to make these deals possible," said Coleman.

Regional Bedding retailer, Mattress RX occupied approximately 4,500 square feet next to Dunkin Donuts late summer of 2009 when construction of the shops was complete. Mattress RX, who is also represented by Coleman, has five locations across Eastern North Carolina and is currently in the process of opening a sixth store in Greenville. "Win really hit the nail on the head in identifying Bayhead Commons for our fifth location. We have been trying secure the right location Morehead City market for a while and it became clear that this was the perfect long term location for us so we jumped at the opportunity" said Chris Shankle, founder and president of Mattress RX.

Little Caesar's Pizza is the final piece to the puzzle, signing a lease to occupy the last 2,000 square feet space on February 1st. This will be franchisee, T & T Pizza Inc.'s third location with stores in Havelock and New Bern as well. "We really like the visibility and the co-tenancy with Dunkin Donuts and Mattress RX" noted Tom Baker, owner of T&T. The addition of Little Caesar's brings Bayhead Commons to full occupancy in less than a year after completion.
