Garner Mid-Day Rotary Foundation Names Title Sponsors For 2nd Annual Black, White & Bling Gala
Fundraising event to benefit Backpack Buddies program and scholarships


GARNER, NC, July 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Garner Mid-Day Rotary Foundation has announced title sponsors for its second annual Black, White & Bling Gala, as Swift's Fine Jewelry of Knightdale, and Grand Marquise Ballroom of Garner.

Black, White & Bling Gala 2010 will take place on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., at the Grand Marquise Ballroom, located at 225 New Fidelity Court in Garner.

The evening will feature dining, dancing to music by DJ Mike Morse of G105FM's "Bob & The Showgram," and the chance to win $2,500 cash and a 1.18-carat round brilliant diamond donated by Swift's Fine Jewelry.

Proceeds of the black-tie gala will benefit the Backpack Buddies program, which supplies underprivileged children in Garner with weekly allotments of nutritious foods.
Additional gala proceeds will go to the Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club's scholarship programs for Garner Magnet High School students.

"The goal of the gala is to raise awareness of the needs of local children, and raise funds to help meet those needs," said Gala Chair Julie Clark. "Last year's gala raised more than $13,000 and this year's event will be even bigger and better! Bring out your best bling, all for a great cause."

Gala tickets are on sale now through Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club members. Tickets are $75 each and include dinner and the chance to win the diamond and cash prize.
