Friends Of The NCVMA Foundation Supports Canine Assisted Rehabilitation For The Elderly
Philanthropic Arm Of The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association Makes $750 Donation To Wake County Organization

RALEIGH, NC, July 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that Friends of the NCVMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the organization, has donated $750 to Dr. Julianne Davis of the Canine Assisted Rehabilitation for the Elderly on behalf of the organization. C.A.R.E is a nonprofit organization which places shelter dogs in a permanent home and trains them to be therapeutic visitors in assisted living facilities and senior centers.

The NCVMA also gave $500 to C.A.R.E. along with the contribution from its foundation.
