CARY, NC, September 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Novelists, Memoirists and Journalists in the Triangle
Writers of all genres are welcome in workshops focused on sensory prompts, creating a writer's website and learning about self-publishing. Three workshops are offered: Aromas and Creativity, Websites for Writers 101 and Self-Publishing Basics. All workshops take place from 10:30AM to 12:30PM on Saturdays throughout October 2011.
Saturday, October 1 - Aromas and Creativity: This one-of-a-kind workshop uses aromas instead of words or objects as creative writing prompts. Workshop fee also includes a gift bag of products and attendees can create their own "creativity potion" to take home.
Saturday, October 8 - Websites for Writers 101: Websites can cost thousands of dollars to create and maintain. Alternatively, you can pay less than $100 for a hosting service, domain and be your own webmaster. Explore different services, neuromarketing techniques, make an outline for your website and learn SEO basics. Brunch included.
Saturday, October 15 - Self-Publishing Basics: Is your manuscript sparkling and ready to be printed and bound? If you're con-sidering self-publishing your novel, memoir, non-fiction book or poetry, are you confident you can market your product effectively?
